Verspäteter Wochenrückblick

Das verlängerte Pfingstwochenende ist zu Ende und ich komme endlich wieder zum Schreiben! Dabei habe ich allerdings wenig berichtenswertes geschafft. Denn ich habe hauptsächlich gearbeitet. Und an meinem freien Tag war ich dann mit Freunden auf dem Karneval der Kulturen. Lecker Caipis trinken, afrikanisch essen, an Schmuck-Ständen stöbern und feiern... Die Ausbeute sind diese schönen Perlmuttohringe.

We had a long weekend here till yesterday. And I haven't made any real progress. Instead I worked and on my free day went to the Karneval der Kulturen with some friends. We drank cocktails, ate african food, had a look at all the jewelry stalls and simply had a great day... Here are my cute earrings to remember.

An diesem Wochenende hat auch Katharina ihre Söckchen bekommen und die Mama hat's sehr gefreut. Bin mal gespannt, ob es Fotos gibt.

Katharina also finally got her socks this weekend. Her mum was delighted and I'm wondering if there will be photos.

Für die Bluse habe ich den Chiffon zugeschnitten und es wieder nicht gemocht. Dieser Stoff hat immer eine andere Form! Weiter bin ich noch nicht gekommen, was vielleicht auch am Respekt vorm Feind (Chiffon) liegt. Außerdem probiere ich immer noch verschiedene Muster für meine Jacke aus. Das erste Knäul ist trotz Trennens bald alle...

I did cut the ciffon for the blouse last week. But I really didn't like it. This fabric is reshaping itself all the time! And that's all the progress. Perhaps this is also due to my fear of this d*** fabric. I'm also still trying out new patterns for my cardi. I'm almost through with the first ball of yarn - and I even ripped out quite a few rows.
