Zopfmuster

I finished knitting my hat! It's really cosy and fits quite nicely like a cap but still has to be blocked. I dragged my flatmate out on our balcony to take some pictures anyway. I just couldn't wait to show you. ;) Even the starting snow didn't stop me, hehe. So here we go:

Die neue Mütze ist fertig! Sie ist super warm und weich und passt schon ganz gut, aber eigentlich müsste ich sie noch spannen. Egal, ich habe meinen Mitbewohner trotzdem dazu gebracht auf unseren Balkon ein paar Fotos zu schießen. Ich wollte endlich mal wieder was zeigen. ;) Selbst der Schnee konnte mich da nicht stoppen, hihi.

The sad news is: My local yarn shop is still on holiday until next week and I'm running out of projects/yarn. I still have some odd balls sitting around but not the yarn I want to start a top I want to wear in spring. And not enough for any bigger projects anyway. I already had a look at the yarn section in the next big department store but they only have yarn by one company and cheap sale yarns. Nothing tempted me there. This may mean more sewing during the next days. :) Which really is good news, too.

Die schlechte Nachricht bei der Sache ist, das ich kein aktuelles Projekt/keine Wolle mehr habe und mein Strickladen um die Ecke noch bis Ende der Woche Urlaub macht. Gut, ich habe da noch ein paar Knäul rumliegen, aber leider nicht genug für ein größeres Projekt und schon gar nicht für ein Oberteil, das ich mir für den nächsten Frühling stricken möchte. Ich war sogar schon im nächsten Karstadt gucken, aber die haben nur einen Hersteller und einiges an Sonderangebotsgarnen. Da hat mich wirklich gar nichts gereizt. Das heißt dann wohl, dass ich in den nächsten Tagen eher nähen werde. Und das sind ja eigentlich auch wieder gute Nachrichten.
