Weihnachten -Teil 2

Hier kommt ein Foto des zuerst fertig gestellten Weihnachtsgeschenks: Turn-a-Square (Muster von Jared Flood). Ich hatte ein paar Anlaufschwierigkeiten die Streifen ohne Absatz wechseln zu lassen, aber nach ein paar Reihen hatte ich den Dreh wieder raus. (Und ihn schon wieder vergessen...) Ansonsten ein schönes und leicht zu arbeitendes Muster. Die Farben habe ich passend zum Mantel ausgewählt, der momentan wegen des ganzen Schnees brav an der Garderobe hängt und gegen die Skijacke getauscht wurde. Das konnte wirklich keiner ahnen! Da das ein Geschenk für einen kleinen Snob war, war Noro natürlich erste Wahl. Und was für eine! Der Farbverlauf ist unglaublich sanft, aber schnell und die Qualität soooo schön zu stricken. Habe mich immer auf die Streifen Noro gefreut! Also hier das Foto:

Here is a picture of the christmas present that was completed first: Turn-a-Square (pattern by Jared Flood). I had some issues to get my stripes from jogging, but after some rows I remembered how to do it. (But already forgot it again...) Otherwise it's a beautiful and easy to follow pattern. I chose the colours to match the coat that is now hanging in the hall due to all the snow here. Who would have thought that a ski-jacket would be the appropriate gear for a berlin winter! As the recipient of this gift is a little snob, Noro was first pick. And what a pick! The colourchange is so subtle but short and the quality soooo nice to knit. I always looked forward to knitting the Noro stripes. Another gift that I enjoyed making a lot!
